Our History
Pro Comm Inc. started in 1976 by Harold W. Stegman and his wife Nancy J. Stegman. Harold W. Stegman had 20 years of radio experience from his work in the United States Airforce and Cook Communications.
In 1978, Harold T. Stegman (Jr.) began working with his parents as a technician. Harold (Jr.) became the sole owner of Pro Comm Inc. in 2009, 1 year after Harold (Sr.) passed. In 2009, the business was moved from Airport Road to Independence Drive in Mt. Pleasant, MI. This move provided a larger and more updated facility to better accommodate the rapid growing customer base. Through the years, Pro Comm Inc. has held dealerships with Motorola, Midland, GE, Kenwood and many others. Currently the company specializes in two-way sales and service as a full-line dealership for Motorola radios. In 2013, Pro Comm Inc. partnered with D&R Electronics to provide turn-key vehicle solutions for emergency and utility vehicles.
